Hi! I'm Dr. Jen

I am a Wife, Mama of two, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Personal trainer, and lover of all things outdoors! As a woman, wife, mom, and professional, I fully understand the pressure, frustration, and fatigue that comes with wearing so many hats. Life happens on the go... and often our health takes a back seat to daily tasks. Simple things such as going to a doctor’s office for a checkup seems daunting; Our time and energy is already drained from our everyday responsibilities! This is why I started Dr. Jen B. Well, a concierge service that brings health, healing and wellness back into your life, because you don't have time to not feel your best!


I have an Exercise Science degree and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences.

I am an ACE-Certified personal trainer and NASM-Corrective Exercise Specialist; I also have specialized training in Women’s Health and TMJ Dysfunction.

Why should I choose cash based Physical Therapy?

Cash based Physical Therapy allows patient care to become the top priority. There is no need for MD referral, insurance cannot dictate treatments, and there are no suprise bills. The therapist is able to truly give patients the care and one-on-one attention they deserve, allowing for better end results.

How do I know if Personal Training or Physical Therapy is right for me?

Dr. Jen will conduction a thorough examination and evaluate what is best for your health. Following the initial assessment, she will discuss with you, your best options to help you reach your goals!

How many times do I need Physical Therapy treatment per week?

The frequency of needed Phyical Therapy is different for each person based on the diagnosis, impairment and stage of tissue healing. Often times in cash based practice, treatments are only needed one to two times per week due to patients receiving such high quality patient care time per treatment. High quality treatment + patient compliance with home exercises allows for less needed weekly visits and faster recovery!

What should I wear to my scheduled appointment?

Wear comfortable cool clothing you can easily move in!

Do you have virtual appointments?

Dr. Jen offers telehealth for physical therapy and virtual personal training session. Talk to Dr. Jen to see what options are best for you and your goals!

Where do we meet for an evaluation or session?

Dr. Jen B is currently serving the Mount Juliet, TN area and online. The initial evaluation needs to be completed in person for a complete and comprehensive assessment. Sessions can be held in the comfort of your home, office, gym, outdoors etc. The following personal training sessions or physical therapy sessions can be done so in person (just like the evaluation) or virtually (based upon your goals and health needs).

How long does an initial evaluation last?

Initial evaluations are 60 minutes in length.

How long does a treatment or training sesson last?

Treatment or training sessions are 45 minutes each.

How do I exercise regularly now that I have kids?

Life is busy and often the thought of trying to add on an exercise routine can seem overwhelming. It’s not about making more time in your day, but rather about organizing your time in a different way and being realistic with what works for you! Dr. Jen will help to guide you through different options so that your goals can become a reality!

I want to get in shape after having kids, but how do I safely do that without causing injury?

It is important to have a thorough exam prior to resuming high level activities and exercise post partum. Resuming activities such as runnng, squating, jumping or heavy lifting begin without proper postpartum tissue healing, muscle control, pelvic floor strength and core stability, is likely to lead to injury. Please protect yourself from injury with an examination today!

How can there be personal training sessions without being in a gym for weights and machines?

Some of the most effective training and rehab sessions are done with functional movement, speed, coordination, balance and body weight. Muscles do not require iron weights to be successfully strengthened and trained. Your body just needs the correct formula to train the nervous system and musculoskeletal system for proper healing, conditioning and strengthening.

Will there be home exercises for me to complete?

As a patient with Physical Therapy there will be exercises given to you necessary for each stage of recovery in order to reach your goals in a timely manner. For personal training, you will have access to all workouts given, so that you can perform them independently and maximize your results!

Can my kids be present for my sessions?

Your kiddos are welcome to be present for sessions, assuming that you are able to still complete the exercises and instructions to ensure that you are receiving the most effective, safe and quality care possible!

What happens if I get sick or have an emergency and need to reschedule my appointment?

Life happens so when sickness or an emergency arises, please contact Dr. Jen to reschedule as soon as possible. Because this is a concierge service, if Dr. Jen arrives to the appointment and there is no prior communication to cancel and reschedule there will be a $50 service call fee.
